GraphiCode, a global provider of cost-effective, superior software innovations for electronics manufacturing, today announces the release of version 9.1 of its full product suite - GC-PowerPlatform.

GraphiCode is a pleased to provide considerable enhancements to existing functionality as well as a brand new feature for the 9.1 release.

Enhancements include:

Blind and Buried Drill Editor
The Blind and Buried Drill Editor has been updated to more clearly allow the assignment of drill layers.

Auto interpretation of Rounded Rectangle customs
If a custom fits the criteria for a rounded rectangle, the user is asked if they would like to convert this and other customs to true rounded rectangles

New Feature:

Assembly Documentation
The ability to create color-coded assembly documentation has been added to the product. Working from a Part layer with reference designators and part numbers, the function will generate assembly documentation based on user defined settings.

The Assembly Documentation function is being offered at no additional cost for all GC-PowerPlace and GC-PrevuePlus (with Assembly Programming option) customers that are current on an annual support plan.

Customers can visit www.graphicode.com to read the full release notes and download the latest version. GC-PowerPlatform encompasses all of GraphiCode’s well-known products. GC-Prevue, GC-PrevuePlus, GC-CAM Edit, GC-PowerStation and GC-PowerPlace all benefit from the numerous enhancements and bug fixes.

The GC-PowerPlatform suite of products runs on the industry standard Windows platform, essentially eliminating the need to run expensive workstations. Flexible input and powerful outputs combined with enhanced CAM functionality result in higher throughput and lower costs. The Annual Support Plan (not necessary for GC-Prevue) continues to provide exceptional value for money with support provided on an as needed basis and four scheduled updates per year.
